Abstract

Feminism is a movement that bring differences towards the way people think and act. Feminism is a movement that has several brances all with the same focus on woman's equality. One of the brances of feminism is liberal feminism. People assume that women should have freedom the same as the freedom that men get. It is about the freedom of choice and the freedom of women express themselves since they have their individual autonomy. Liberal feminism revealed on Meghan Trainor Album “Thank You”. Based on the problem it can be formalated into general research question; How is Feminism revealead on Meghan Trainor's Song in the Album Thank You. The analysis in this thesis used feminism theory because the aim of this thesis is to find out liberal feminism theory that are revealed through Meghan's song lyrics. The result of the analysis show that women are independent, have freedom to choose what they want and women should be treated with respect.
