Abstract
The movie described is The Big 4, (2022) Indonesian comedy action film directed by Timo Tjahjanto and written by Timo Tjahjanto and Johanna Wattimena. The Big 4 this movie is ranked 2nd on Netflix’s global top 10 list, The purpose of this paper is to analyze the character of Antonio Sandoval. In this movie, Antonio Sandoval is the antagonist of the movie. Antonio's character stole the attention of many viewers which made this movie more interesting. Antonio has a bad personality that disturbs his psychology. In this movie the writer uses Sigmund Freud's Id theory found in the character Antonio Sandoval. Sigmund Freud called the id the center of a person's entire mental dynamic energy (psychic energy). The writer uses qualitative research methods using secondary sources, qualitative method is a method that focuses on in-depth observation. The writer uses movie as secondary data. Data collection is done by watching movies, analyzing data, looking at evidence at the scene, and looking for conclusions. The writer finds that the character has several elements of Sigmund Freud's theory that aim to be emotional, optimistic and determine a movie. Antonio is someone who has a different nature from other people who can be analyzed and interesting to discuss.
