Abstract

Interpersonal communication is a form of communication carried out by two individuals to convey messages by meeting face to face. The background of this study discusses the communication strategy that occurs due to the inhibiting factors of covid-19 which have become a factor behind one of them in communication services to patients who come to Dr. Zaky Aziz's clinic. The purpose of this study was to determine how the interpersonal communication behavior of doctors during the COVID-19 pandemic towards patients. This research approach uses a descriptive approach. The data obtained are the results of interviews with several research informants. The results showed that in communication that takes place between individuals requires an effective communication which usually occurs in everyday life known as interpersonal communication. During the communication process, it is very important for interactions to occur to share information and feelings between individuals so that feedback does not cause misunderstandings in communicating. Interpersonal communication behavior between doctors and patients at the clinic went well. Although in its implementation there are often obstacles that make it difficult to convey information.
