The data of the main character and characterization are collected by finding the evidences from the dialogue in the novel. The writer used existentialism feminism as theory and explained about the characteristic of Tracy Whitney and made summary through that theory. This struggle is not achieved easily, but through her relentless efforts, she manages to attain what was once difficult for her to accomplish. Facing four men who have falsely accused her and sent her to prison, she is able to confront them all without resorting to killing or inflicting harm with sharp weapons. Finding herself unable to secure employment due to her status as a former convict, she eventually manages to collect great wealth. Tracy Whitney proves that a woman is capable of achieving what is commonly attributed to men, both in terms of career accomplishments and astute thinking.
