This research focuses on analyzing the characterization of Bilbo Baggins in J.R.R. Tolkien's novel "The Hobbit" through the lens of Sigmund Freud's Psychoanalysis Theory. The theory's three components - Id, Ego, and Superego - are used to examine Bilbo's personality and behavior.
