Abstract

This study aims to determine what factors influence the decision to save at PT. BPR Magga Jaya Utama. From the study two factors were taken, namely trust in PT. BPR Magga Jaya Utama and the quality of service of PT. BPR Magga Jaya Utama. This research was conducted using an ordinal scale by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The data was distributed to 100 respondents as random sampling because the population was determined to be infinite and processed using the SPSS 21.0 program which was then used to test the relationship of these variables. Based on the research results obtained that the multiple linear regression equation Y = 2.912 + 0.539 X1 + 0.408 X2 means that the relationship between trust, service quality is strong enough and has a positive relationship, as evidenced by the X1 service quality correlation coefficient of 0.881 which is close to 1, the correlation coefficient of service quality X2 is 0.900 which is almost close to 1. This can be said that the trust and quality of service available at PT. BPR Magga Jaya Utama has run well in an effort to improve savings decisions. The direction of positive relationships shows increased productivity. Likewise, vice versa, the worse the trust and quality of service will reduce the saving decision. From the results of calculations in the summary model, for model 1 shows the correlation coefficient of 0.881 which shows that there is a relationship between trust in service quality is very good. For model 2 shows the number of correlation coefficients of 0.900 which shows the relationship between trust in saving decisions is very good. From the results of the hypothesis test analysis it was found that t count for trust is equal to 5.691 with t table 1.660, for saving decisions has t count of 4.150 with t table 1.660. therefore t counts the trust and saving decision greater than t table (5,691> 1,660 and 4,150> 1,660) means that the condition shows that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The related parties should increase the factors that influence the decision to save PT. BPR Magga Jaya Utama so that it can run smoothly.
