Abstract
The research is about the main character psychological in “The Medic Miracle on Hacksaw Ridge” novel through Sigmund Freud theory. The objective of this research is find out the psychological main character in “The Medic Miracle on Hacksaw Ridge” novel. The writer used qualitative method to analysis the dialogue quotes in this research. The source of the data in this research is Adam Palmer novel “The Medic Miracle on Hacksaw Ridge. In collecting the data the writer used taking dialogue quotes. To find out the psychological main character, the writer analyzing the dialogue quotes with the Sigmund Freud theory and analyzing the data from the novel. Then the writer proved the data from the novel and the theory. The result of this research showed that there were three kind of psychological character from analyzed the novel. The id, the ego and the superego is a component of personality that can’t be separated because they influenced each other. Every component have different contribution to create human personality. The thing that people learn and get from childhood until they grow up can change into someone personality.
